A Clubhouse for Seniors
A place where you meet new friends and create lasting memories.
The City's Senior Scene Clubhouse is a free “drop-in” program offering a variety of activities and a great place to meet new friends. No reservations are needed. Highlights of programs, activities, and services include our meal program, transportation, card playing, board games, monthly game tournaments, wellness lectures, exercise classes, computer classes, craft classes, a book club, monthly activities calendar, movies and much more.
The City is committed to ensuring the enjoyment, safety, and proper use of the Senior Scene Clubhouse which is governed by the Senior Scene Clubhouse Administrative Policy.
The Senior Scene Clubhouse Newsletter containing an events calendar is a great way to view all of the activities offered each month. If you are a Lake Forest senior resident and interested in receiving the quarterly calendar, please call (949) 461-3450 and leave your name, address and phone number (spell your last name and street address, slowly please).

Lake Forest Senior Advisory Board Elections
In November 2018, two seats will become available to serve on the Senior Advisory Board. The City
of Lake Forest Parks and Recreation Commission is looking for qualified candidates who are interested
and passionate about future senior programs and senior center.
The Senior Advisory Board is appointed by and reports to the Parks and Recreation Commission.
The Board consists of five members and will act in an advisory capacity to the Parks and Recreation Commission. Meetings are held six times per year. Each Board member’s term limit is two years.
Qualifications for the Senior Advisory Board
- Lake Forest resident
- 50 years of age or older

All applicants must submit an application to the Parks and Recreation Commission no later than
Friday, October 26, 2018 by 5:00 pm. The Parks and Recreation Commission will conduct interviews on Thursday, November 15 at 7:00 pm.
