Senior Advisory Board

Mission Statement

The City's Senior Advisory Board is committed to support and serve the senior citizen population in our community. The Board's role is to serve in an advisory capacity to the Parks and Recreation Commission for the purpose of providing the Commission with information on all issues of importance to senior citizens.

2018 Board Meeting Dates

Board members meet on Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. every two months at Lake Forest City Hall.

Lake Forest Senior Advisory Elections

In November 2018, two seats will become available to serve on the Senior Advisory Board.  The City of Lake Forest Parks and Recreation Commission is looking for qualified candidates interested and passionate about future senior programs and senior center.  The Senior Advisory Board is appointed by and reports to the Parks and Recreation Commission.

The Board consists of five members and each Board member's term limit is two years.  Qualifications for the Senior Advisory Board:

  • Lake Forest Resident
  • 50 years of age or older
